Donald Jackson brings a wealth of experience in law and civil rights advocacy. He began his law journey at the University of Illinois in 1971 and was admitted to the bar in 1974. His early career included roles as a field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board and a collective bargaining instructor at Bradley University. In 1975, Jackson transitioned to private practice while also joining the Peoria County Public Defender’s Office, where he specialized in discrimination cases. Jackson’s leadership extended to his 20+ years as President of the Peoria Branch of the NAACP and various influential positions within the NAACP at state and regional levels.
